Money laundering prevention

Money laundering is a process intended to conceal the benefits derived from unlawful activities which are related, directly or indirectly, to any serious offence so that they appear to have originated from a legitimate source.
According with the international policy of money laundering prevention, GoldBet declares to use all possible means to control and prevent any activity of persons engaging or attempting to engage in any unlawful activity leading to money laundering. GoldBet reserves the right to report such activity to the relevant authorities. Civil and criminal penalties can be imposed for violations of anti-money laundering laws and regulations.
According with the Money Laundering Prevention Act 2001/97/CE the obligation of identity control, record keeping and correct financial reporting as a mean to prevent possible money laundering is extended to online and telecom service providers and other providers of services transmitting electronic data used in any form of gaming, betting or entertainment that uses money as a mean of payment.

Registration

With respect to the above statement, to access the services of the company by the means of opening an account and registering as a new user a person needs to be over 18 years old and agrees to submit requested personal data.
1. The company is obliged to record and keep the following data:
1.1. Data related to the opening of an account offering an access to on-line games, such as:
• Name and Surname
• Address (current place of residence)
• Date of Birth
• Gender
• Telephone number
• Email address

1.2. data related to the time and date of opening an account as well as details of all financial transactions related to such an account including the type of transactions and the amounts of money transferred to and from the account as well as all security data such as IP addresses used, time, date and length of the connection to the services of the company.

2. The company reserves the right to exclude the users who refuse to comply with current regulations as well as refuse to pay out eventual winnings if a user obstructs these security measurements in any way. A user is obliged to present on The Company’s request an identification document containing current photograph, such as a passport, an ID or a driving licence as well as a auxiliary documents such as bank statements or utility bills.

3. A user is entitled to open only one account. It is not allowed to register additional accounts using different personal data. The Company reserves the right to close such accounts, cancel all the effected bets and seize any balance in such accounts at the time of the cancellation.

4. In case of a suspected fraudulent activity or any violation of the general Terms and Conditions, particularly the use of multiple accounts and / or participation in multiple games at once when not allowed, The Company reserves the right to cancel user’s access to the games and eventually to close the account.

Payments

1. The user is obliged to forward to GoldBet (The Company) legible copies of requested documents confirming his identity before proceeding with any financial operations using the account. The Company reserves the right to request documentation related to any deposits made into the account to verify the origins of the financial means deposited. In case of any inadequacies found, all the bets placed by the user will be cancelled and eventual winnings will be confiscated unless the user will otherwise prove that the financial means he used to bet with were obtained lawfully. If a user is found to use more than one account, The Company reserves the right to freeze current financial means present on all such accounts.

2. Members of gaming syndicates are obliged to establish a legal representative who will be a named owner of an account with The Company therefore legally responsible for such an account. The winnings will be paid only to a named owner of such an account.

3. The user declares to accept all necessary data communication from The Company referring to the account. The user authorises The Company to use submitted data to perform requested financial transactions.

4. The Company reserves the right to change the method of withdrawal on a personal basis (i.e. in case of requested credit card withdrawals).

Access to the account

The user has an access to the account using protected data submitted during the registration process (username and password). The Company is not responsible for any unlawful use of the account by not authorised third parties who gained access to such data.

Security

Based on the above regulations, The Company is obliged to report to the relevant authorities any suspicious or fraudulent activity on the account. Such an account will remain disabled until the end of investigation by the authorities.
